Files processed by the tools. This is the most important point of this policy: files you upload to any Haizea tool (PDFs, images, text documents, etc.) are processed entirely inside your own browser using JavaScript. These files are never transmitted to a server, so Haizea never has access to or stores their content.

Data we do collect. If analytics is enabled (self-hosted Umami), aggregated and anonymous usage statistics are collected: pages visited, approximate country and device type, without personal identifiers or full IP addresses. This data cannot identify any individual user.

Local preferences. Your chosen language and theme (light/dark) are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and are never sent to any server.

Legal basis. Processing of anonymous statistics is based on the legitimate interest of understanding overall site usage in order to improve it.

Your rights. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to usheridan@gmail.com. Since no personally identifiable data is collected by default, in most cases there will be no personal record to rectify or delete.

Data retention and sharing. No data is shared with third parties. Anonymous statistics are kept in aggregate form without a defined retention limit, as they are not personally identifiable data.

Changes to this policy. This policy may be updated to reflect legal changes or changes to how the site works. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
